Pastry Chefs do this with white and dark chocolate. Pour white chocolate over a piece of ascetate cut to the width of the outside of your cake and the length needed to wrap all around the cake, spread thin and allow to set then pour over dark chocolate and spread thin. Then run a faux wood grainer (from a hardware store) over the strip like a blotter back and forth to create the woodgrain effect. Allow to set, but still be pliable and wrap around the cake. Then place in the fridge to set up firm and carefully peel off the ascetate to leave the chocolate on the cake. It's a tricky effect that takes some practice to get right. Have fun!! Tami
